Ronald C. Jones
Virginia Beach – Ronald C Jones, 71, passed away on April 26, 2017. He was born in Little Falls, NY on December 1, 1945 to the late Edward and Roberta Jones. He was preceded in death by his soulmate and wife of 25 years, Carol A Jones.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Deborah L Fussell and Lori A Saltzman and her husband, Michael; stepson Gerald Sellner; and grandchildren Scott and Alex Saltzman; and Kyle, Melissa, Lindsey and Heather Sellner.
Ron retired as a SCPO after 25 years of service in the US Navy. He also retired from GEICO after 18 years of service. Ron was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Loyal Order of the Moose, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Fleet Reserve Association and The American Legion.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at VFW Post 392. Ron and Carol’s remains will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
