To everyone who may not ye t have heard the news, our dear friend, cousin, nephew, uncle, son and brother, Robert Joseph Terry, better known as Robbie or Dancin’ Bear, passed away in the Chesapeake General Hospital on Friday, March 20, 2020. Bobby and Lynn, his father and sister, although devastated were with him as he peacefully took his last breath. Robbie will be missed dearly. Funeral arrangements will be postponed because of COVID-19. However, there will be a memorial service in honor of Robbie’ s memory on a date later to be determined when i t’s safer to publicly gather in large groups. Updates regarding those arrangements will be provided HERE as well as via Robbie and Lynn’ s FaceBook pages.
Robbie’s wishes were that his final resting place be alongside his predeceased brother, Bobby with the cremains of his beloved dog, Chance. There have already been numerous calls, texts and messages from people asking how to help. So here i t is! As mos t of you are aware, Robbie battled a multitude of chronic illnesses, some of which he was diagnosed with long ago. As his medical conditions worsened and new ones developed, he was forced by his disables to involuntarily leave the workforce at an early age. However, the occurrence of his death was unexpected as
it came as a surprise to everyone. Along with the active economic situation we are all currently faced with, the combination of events have resulted in a huge financial burden.
All contributions made to Robbie’s family will help them plan for the road ahead.
