On January 15th, 2021 ~In the early morning hours, Mrs. Norene Marie Lovdahl of Newport News VA, unexpectantly was taken by the hand of Jesus to walk the streets of Heaven.
Norene leaves a hole in the hearts of so many people whom she loved dearly. Norene lived life to the fullest, loving hard and caring deeply. Norene was so compassionate about helping those less fortunate than herself. She was a giver, as so many of her family and friends know. Her loving and caring nature, allowed her to touch so many lives. She loved watching her birds at the feeders, traveling the world to see friends, watching a good movie, spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, and sharing a cup of tea with all she adored, amongst so many other things.
Norene was born August 4, 1960, in Fort Monmouth New Jersey, to the late John and Seline Todt, formerly of Petersburg VA. She was a 1979 graduate of Petersburg High School and attended Richard Bland College for a short time.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Seline Todt; brother and sister-in-law, John and Roxann Todt, formerly of McKenney VA; brother-in-law, Calvin Lipford; niece, Catherine Lipford, and several cousins.
She leaves to cherish wonderful memories, the love of her life and husband of 25 years, Theodore Lovdahl III; her son, Theodore Lovdahl IV (Typhany), of San Antonio TX; daughters Samantha Larned (Chenel) of Hampton VA and Ashley Batten (Tim) of Bluefield WV. She leaves her precious grandbabies, Annie, Theodore, Amelia, and James. In-laws, Theodore and Marie Lovdahl Jr. of Effie MN; brothers-in-law, Michael Lovdahl (Tracy) of Salem CT; Timothy Lovdahl (Heidi) of Andover MN and Mark Lovdahl (Tara) of Plainwell MI. Sisters, Jolene Cave (Michael) of Hopewell VA, Tanya Lipford of Chester VA and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Aunt and Uncle, Carmen and Susan Rizzo of Lansdale PA, and Elton Pfaff of Hanover PA; Godson, Charlie Potter of Suffolk England; Goddaughters, Laura Meyers of Petersburg VA, and Kelly Lipford of Chester VA. As well as numerous cousins whom she adored. She also leaves to mourn her passing, so many dear friends, that she loved so much.
