Bubba never met a stranger. Known for his friendly nature, he had a million friends. He never turned his back on anyone in need, and would give you the shirt off his back.
The family enjoys hearing all the stories about Bubba. He was a Larger Than Life Man. Someone so special can never be forgotten, may his soul rest in peace.

This world has lost another one of the good ones. Whenever I saw him, he had a big smile on his face. He always had his friends backs. Now someone greater than life has his back. He was a special kind of man. My condolences to his family and friends. He would want everyone to celebrate his life.

Bubba was such a good soul. Always a fun time when he was around. We met at South Beach Grill when I was about 22 and throughout the years he was always a friendly face and always offering to help in any way he could. He will be truly missed.

We met Bubba when he was a teenager hanging out with our son, Tom. He always had some huge dog with him who looked intimidating but turned out to be sweet and friendly - just like Bubba. We're sure a lot of Bubba stories are being told by his friends and they will keep his memory with us. Love to the Ennis family.

Bubba and everyone at the Ice House knew me as Slim. Bubba was an old friend of mine and while I'm now living in the mountains of Pennsylvania away from my hometown Virginia Beach and my old friends my heart is heavy having learned of Bubba's passing. My condolences to his family and all who were lucky to call Bubba their friend!

I met Bubba in High School. I was the new kid from Boston. He teased me over my accent. He would put him arm around me and say “come on boston, let’s hear you talk.” He would laugh and so would I. As the years went on, I didn’t see him often. I had moved away from the beach and started a family. Well, 20 years later, I returned to the beach. Divorced, and working my tail off as a bartender at an oceanfront restaurant. One day he came in to the restaurant get his dog Wes some water . He looked at me and said” Your Boston “ I said back “Yeah Bubba “ he was the only person to call me that. He gave me the biggest hug. I would see him constantly around town, he even bought my old pickup truck. Truely a good guy. One of a kind and I am happy to call him one of my friends. I will miss not seeing him around town. That grin, that’s what I will miss the most❤️
