Virginia Beach ~ Albert ‘Jack” Copperthite passed away October 5, 2019 at his home in Virginia Beach, VA.

Predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Copperthite.

Left to cherish his memory are his twin sister Margaret Lints, his daughter Pamela Woolwine, three granddaughters Amanda, Melissa, and Alexis Woolwine, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, he would like donations to go to the Kempsville Voluntary Rescue Squad.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 12th at Kempsville Golf Course at 1:00 p.m.

Jack was a very special person in my life. He was my neighbor when I was kid. He and my father worked together at the phone company. He introduced me to the game of golf. He gave me my first set of clubs and would take me out to Stumpy Lake and Ocean View and let me caddie for him with his pull cart. To this day I share Jack's passion for the game of golf. Jack would pay me and a buddy of mine to be his spotter for the Maury High School football games. We could eat and drink all we wanted for free. It was big deal. As a grown up it was always fun to go back in the card room and tell people what cards he had. He always had a joke and he always made me laugh.He was like a second father to me. I love you Jack, I will miss you. Hit'em straight up there.
